Thank you Nate, great stuff. I’ve visited Cambodia and Thailand, but not
Myanmar. I like how you filmed everyday life too, not just the tourist
kinda things. You gave good overall picture of the places you visited.

Travelling alone and making doc film, this became interesting… Originally

I bet they didn’t give you acces to the part of the country where buddhist
extremists are literally slaughtering muslims and in some cases, as has
been documented in videos put online, literally butchering them and eating
    them.

hey thanks for your video, it brought back a lot of memories when i visited
the country in 2002,2003, and 2005. What is the camera your using to shoot
this. Is it a point and shoot with hd video or a camcorder? this seems to
take very nice video with capturing true color in all light conditions.,

Great travel video. Well done. I was in South East Asia at the beginning
of this year and did not have the chance to visit Myanmar but I hope to go

Nathan, I will be going there next month. I watched a documentary that is a
couple of years old. Either freedom to video has grown tremendously in a
short time or you were hiding your camera. Can you describe the kind of
camcorder, how you carried it, and if you had any hassles doing this?
    Thanks.

This is the first of a two part series. You’ll see what everything looks
like there–from day to day life, to cuisine, to transportation, to cottage
industry, to bad habits (mainly chewing betel nut), to the most scenic
locations in the country, and much, much more.
